Our Dried Kelp Strips (昆布條) come from thick, mature kelp harvested from Northern Chinese and Korean waters, carefully dried under the sun to retain their intense natural umami flavor. Known as an essential base for Japanese dashi broth, these kelp strips are also widely used in Cantonese soup stocks, where they add depth and a hint of sea salt to slow-simmered dishes.

Once softened, they can also be sliced for cold salads, braised with pork belly, or stir-fried with chili and garlic for a home-style side dish. Rich in fiber and iodine, dried kelp is a pantry essential for health-conscious cooks.
